Emily and her friend and neighbor Carly were sitting at the kitchen table while we were eating supper this evening discussing school (both in kindergarten, different schools):
Carly-talking about having a substitute teacher in art
Emily-"Was your teacher a boy or a girl?"
Carly-"A boy."
Emily-"Was he handsome?" (with emphasis)
Carly-"No. He was a grandpa!" (stern and with disappointment).
