YES, SHE IS WHO SHE IS

Over the weekend, Emily had a blast riding and driving her cousin's go-kart.  She screamed with excitement as they drove their way though the muddy paths.  Emily got dressed for school yesterday morning wearing her Chicago Bears jersey to school.  Today she opted for her Colts jersey.  The question was posed: "Did you ever think your daughter could be into jerseys and go-karts?"  "Well, yes." was my response.  "That is just her."  Is she a lot like her mom?  In some ways maybe, others not so much.  She is an outdoor loving, nature kind of girl.  Her favorite clothes are basketball shorts and t-shirts.  She wishes it could be warm weather all year round so she can wear flip flops or go barefoot.  She is obsessed with horses and living on a farm.  She loves school and reading and isn't overly crazy about pink.  She loves peas, but won't touch other things with a 10ft. pole.  Who would have thought she would be into all the adventure rides that spin and soar?  That's just a few of the things that I love about her, that make her a unique girl, and make me proud to be her mama.
