Today was Rylie's first day of preschool. Not her very first day of preschool, but for this school year (she went to preschool last year). She could not wait for this day to come and had a hard time understanding why Emily started school almost a week and a half ago, and she had to wait. It just didn't seem fair. Of course she wanted to pick a new outfit to wear, so after an eventful trip to Target with a strong-willed four year old, this is what she picked.
Today I picked her up, and asked her how school was and she responds "I have new friends and old friends." "What's their names? I asked. "I don't know, just new friends and old friends" is what she answered.
